For the time being, I'm interested of discussing computer and science stuff. So below you find the description of the script quoted from it's corresponding page on userscripts.org:

Wikipedia (as well as other wikimedia projects) have the ability to provide connection to users using https. This feature can be very useful in places with active censorship over the internet.
This script ensures that wikipedia, and wikipedia's sister projects use the https connection.

The script works well, yet it's still the first version, and many enhancement are still possible.
If you have problem with it, drop a comment in order to try to fix out bugs.

I hope you consider it useful. If you find it interesting, I have made as well a Firefox search engine that returns wikipedia articles directly in secure http (i.e. https). Its code can be found here, and you can install it to your browser by clicking on it here.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7371946.post-1164238723727721702006-11-23T00:07:00.000+01:002006-11-23T00:38:43.753+01:00Neurality got webpage :-)
Finally, instead of the old redirecting sourceforge website, the site got finally updated. It's not hard to be done, the majority is implemented in the code but need to be updated in the GUI.
Another thing to be done, is to add Linux support (probably using KDE).
Hope you'll like it anyway.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7371946.post-1135266538228810682005-12-22T16:37:00.000+01:002005-12-22T16:48:58.253+01:00Winds of TomorrowThe Gimp started a contest for creating splash screen for its upcoming "special" version . This software still in alpha phase, and needs lots of changes and upgrades to be done in order to be used efficiently. Although, you can still use it to see results that it provides for a preview. I've created the project in SourceForge, I'll upload the corresponding files shortly, so that you can use it. It's open source under the GPL License.
Once it'll be uploaded, you'll find a notice on this blog to be up-to-date.
After all, this blog wont be exclusively about art any more ;) .
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7371946.post-1127565925379234882005-09-24T14:39:00.000+02:002005-10-25T22:18:09.296+02:00How about some "Dark Thrill" !!
I've began thinking of changing the subject of this blog to be art, digital art to be precise, since that's what the posts till now are about !!
You should guess then this post gonna be. I wasn't able to complete it, but it has some cool features, and it's graphics are good (as I believe). Unfortunately, the flash thing cannot be displayed under firefox browser (A neat secure browser, I recommend everybody to use it), I am investigating this problem. But when the site was created, Firefox didn't exist then. Till I resolve it, try to see it under Internet Explorer.
In the same directory of the site, you can also find a version of minesweeper created by me. It's a good one (worth to try). I recommend you to see the about menu (Help -> About). It has some nice real-time animation that interact with the cursor position. Try it! ;)

--Updated: Now it is possible to view the site using Mozilla firefox .

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7371946.post-1087725392708856192004-06-20T11:52:00.000+02:002007-04-14T14:01:15.733+02:00Space Birth
Here is my current wallpaper, i create it my self using The gimp, a powerful tool , and open source as well.

In this wallpaper, I tried to represent the Birth of space, using my imagination.
